Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) December 26, 2009 -- On October 29, 2009 at 8pm Eastern Time, Crime Prevention Specialist Susan Bartelstone interviews former bank executive Michelle Renee, who, along with her 7-yr old daughter, was kidnapped, held hostage, taped with explosives and forced to rob the bank where she was the branch manager.

She now works with survivors of violence and abuse and her book, Held Hostage: The True Story of a Mother and Daughter's Kidnapping, was made into a movie for the Lifetime Movie Network. Also on the show is crime survivor and internationally-known self defense advocate Ellen Snortland, author of the classic Beauty Bites Beast, and Kim Estes, who founded the Peace of Mind organization to provide child safety workshops to parents and teachers after photos of her best friend's children were secretly posted on an infamous pedophile website.
